This impact resistant cap is designed to snugly fit the SEEALL
Open Sight Mk3 Pistol Sight.
Features:
reversible
side ridges to improve grip
lanyard loop large enough for paracord
requires over 2 pounds of force to remove
This is not IP rated, but I did some very basic impact tests.
My preliminary tests consisted of beating the capped sight on a cinder block until something broke.
That resulted in minor cosmetic damage to the cap, and no damage to the sight.
I later tested the cap alone by hitting it with a 2.5lbs blacksmith hammer. Those results are in the picture gallery.
